The Gratitude

We’ve had the pleasure of working with some truly remarkable people — and lucky for us, a few of them were kind enough to put it in writing. Here’s what some of our students and clients have to say about their Universal Improv experience.

Sarah Waddle

Sarah is a recent graduate of Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas, who attended not one but two Universal Improv workshops during her time there. She was gracious enough to share her experience — including a great story about how her improv training helped her rescue a show that was heading off the rails. (Spoiler: the show went on. Beautifully.)

Christopher Lee Herod

Chris is a senior at Texas A&M Corpus Christi and a two-time Universal Improv workshop veteran. Actor, director, and dance choreographer — the man does it all, and he’ll be the first to tell you that improv shows up in every single part of it.

Nicole Alarid

Nicole was the Production Manager for The NEST Haunted House in Phoenix, AZ — featured on Good Morning America and ranked among the scariest haunted houses in the country. She reached out to us about running an improv workshop for her scare actors. All 100 of them. We said yes immediately. (How could we not?)

Joe Quick II

Joe is a naturally gifted comic actor and writer — and instead of coasting on that talent, he showed up ready to push it even further. That kind of drive is exactly what this is all about. You go, Joe. Seriously.

A huge thank you to the incredible folks at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX for continuing to have us back to work with their theater students. Every time we’re there, we leave inspired. We can’t wait to return.
