Our Story
The Universal Story
So early on in my improv training I was encouraged by my former college theater teachers to consider teaching a workshop at my Alma Mater. At the time I thought there was no way I could do it.
Thankfully, I pulled the trigger and I'm glad I did. Since then it has been an amazing journey. One improv workshop led to several opportunities where I got to work with folks from all walks of life. While helping them become better improvisers, they made me a better teacher.

Nathan Ray Clark
Owner & Instructor
Native of Corpus Christi, TX, Nathan is a working actor, and 13 year improv vet based out of Los Angeles.
After graduating from The Second City Hollywood's Conservatory program, Nathan was hired by The Second City Touring Company (Tour Co) as a performer on the Norwegian Cruise Line ship, The Jewel. During this time, Nathan was tasked with teaching improv workshops to the passengers.
After his time with The Second City, Nathan began teaching his own improv workshops.
During this time, Nathan continued his own improv training with Upright Citizens Bridage LA, and The Nerdist School Theater. All while performing with several house and indie improv teams.
Nathan's tv and film credits include: Modern Family, 2 Broke Girls, Glee, The Online Gamer (web series). Gypsy Rose, King of the Underground, and The Audition. Nathan has also appeared in several commercials for Lowe's, Subaru, Nissan, Guitar Center, Albertsons, ESPN, Intuit, Homestreet Bank, and Bo Jangles. Currently, Nathan is co-writing/co-producing the web series, Born Losers.
